|Hi, I'm Julie ... artist, photographer, potter, etc. I am so happy you are here! I consider this blog my creative journal where I can share my recent work, ideas and dreams, and lots of little details about my life. Please make yourself at home. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a photographer, or just a visitor, I hope you will find inspiration here and even become a friend.|
I met up with Emilee, her mom Petie, and her bridesmaids before the wedding. Emilee fit a little time into her wedding day to do some bridal portraits. I was really excited about the location where Emilee chose to get ready ... a friend's home. This home was the most perfect spot for bridal portraits.
So beautiful we didn't even get out of the bathroom before we started the portraits.
Emilee's maiden name used to be Baldwin ... hence the close up shot of the door lock below. I just love that little detail.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering, Emilee is not a professional model. I know, its hard to believe ... but she is just a regular girl with a regular job. She just happens to be stunning and super photogenic! The camera LOVED her!
Now, we'll change pace a little bit. On to the farm ... Hunter Valley Farm to be exact ... for the wedding.
Gorgeous flowers by none other than Lisa Foster Floral Design.
Brock is SO handsome and so excited to see Emilee! I was so happy they did a first look.
Second shooting with me that day was my right hand girl Sara Arms. The moments below were captured by her.
Gorgeous light ... gorgeous couple ... the flowers, location, everything ... just gorgeous!
I think my favorite shot of the day ... just a little flare and little shoulder kissy ... ahhh!
And just for the record ... I did not enhance the color on this image. Brock's eyes really are that amazing. These two are such cuties!
Just a little love for the rolls ...
I just loved this image of Emilee's parents at the beginning of the ceremony. Its just so sweet!
Hunter Valley Farm is such a gorgeous place for a wedding. I mean, seriously ...
I loved the sweet little man who officiated their ceremony. He got tickled during the ceremony and I just LOVE this shot of him! So cute!
Emilee sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" to her dad and it was so beautiful!
Congratulations Emilee and Brock!!!
