Hi, I'm Julie ... artist, photographer, potter, etc. I am so happy you are here! I consider this blog my creative journal where I can share my recent work, ideas and dreams, and lots of little details about my life. Please make yourself at home. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a photographer, or just a visitor, I hope you will find inspiration here and even become a friend. |
When I photographed Taylor and Russell's engagement session I knew that their wedding was going to be wonderful. They were both so nice and fun to hang out with ... not to mention they were gorgeous to photograph. I was looking forward to their wedding and I was not surprised to find tons of gorgeous details and sweet moments all day long. This was a big wedding! There were so many guests ... and it took a lot of really amazing vendors to pull it off so smoothly.

I love the bridal suite at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church ... it makes such a pretty back ground and there are lots of windows for beautiful light. I think Taylor is so pretty and I love this image of her. She was so anxious to see Russell!
I don't know how I get so lucky with the most beautiful brides ... Taylor is certainly no exception. She was absolutely breath-taking!
The guys were looking sharp thanks to Walker's Formalwear http://walkersformalwear.com/
Lauren and I spent a little time taking photos with the guys and in the mean time Sara stayed with Taylor and got this adorable pictures of her opening a gift from Russell. It was a beautiful necklace ... a diamond cross. Taylor's was so surprised and Sara did an awesome job documenting her reaction.
Way to go Russell!
I asked Taylor what she was most excited about on her wedding day and she said it was seeing Russell - of course!
And I think Russell was just as excited about seeing her. I love this moment.
Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church is beautiful.
Taylor and Russell traveled from the church to the reception in this AMAZING antique car owned by E. Doyle Johnson
I just love the car details.
In the meantime the bridal party took a ride on the KAT Trolley!
The Reception was held at Fox Den Country Club http://www.foxdencountryclub.com
Fox Den was also responsible for the catering ... and they did a wonderful job.
All of the rentals were provided by All Occasions Party Rentals http://alloccasionspartyrentals.com/
The yummy cake was done by Caroline Lawson
And the reception was rockin thanks to the music of Gino Speight http://www.sp8entertainment.com/
