|Hi, I'm Julie ... artist, photographer, potter, etc. I am so happy you are here! I consider this blog my creative journal where I can share my recent work, ideas and dreams, and lots of little details about my life. Please make yourself at home. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a photographer, or just a visitor, I hope you will find inspiration here and even become a friend.|
I have been so anxious to post these photos ever since I shot them back in late July. This has been a super busy summer and with a few computer snafus I've gotten a little behind on editing. I'm catching up now ... and so excited to show you this session!
Katy is a friend that goes all the way back to 6th grade ... we share memories of tap shoes, english vocab tests, soccer games, and lots more. It was a joy to reconnect with her over this occasion: her wedding to the man of her dreams. Before we get to the wedding ... I have something even better! Her bridal session!
This is Morning Glory Farms - owned by G. Webb. Mr. Webb is a well known painter among Gatlinburg's artist community (http://www.gwebbgallery.com/). He was so generous and nice to let us explor all over his vineyards and horse fields. Morning Glory Farms really is one of the most gorgeous places in the world!
I've recently been "had" by my impulsive shopping addiction to etsy.com.
I found these adorable spoons at this link (http://www.etsy.com/shop/monkeysalwayslook?ref=seller_info)
My friend Izzy Hudgins http://www.izzyhudgins.com/ came along with me and Sara to this session. She helped me style it up with all the little pretty details. Izzy used to be my second shooter but she moved to Madrid, Spain. I was so excited that she came back for a week to visit and shoot with me again.
Horses, brides, and peaches ... these are a few of my favorite things!
We also did a few photos at The Hippensteal Inn (http://www.hippensteal.com/)
