Hi, I'm Julie ... artist, photographer, potter, etc. I am so happy you are here! I consider this blog my creative journal where I can share my recent work, ideas and dreams, and lots of little details about my life. Please make yourself at home. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a photographer, or just a visitor, I hope you will find inspiration here and even become a friend. |
You clever brides out there ... I know you. I was once one of you (just a little over a year ago). I know the time (and money) you spend making decision after decision on an adorable plethora of details that make your wedding day beautiful. From me to you ... it's the love of a couple that gives the wedding photos life. But it's those special little details that tell a story and give your image collection a specific style with unique personality.
One of the best wedding details is the invitation. This little token is the first clue your guests will get about the style of your wedding day. Formal? Casual? Colorful? Elegant? Whimsical? The invitation defines it ... and it's such a great keep-sake for your guests.
The sad part is that this detail is rarely included in your wedding photo collection. I know there are a million little things to remember but I'm so happy that two of my super thoughtful brides remembered me when they sent out their invitations. Because, even though they know I will be there whether I receive an invitation or not, it still makes me happy to get any kind of adorable mail. And best of all, it gives me a perfect chance to take my time photographing of one of the most important wedding details.
This adorable suite is for Heather and Kevin's wedding ... which is only a week and two days away!
