This was one VERY spirited wedding ... and I am so excited to share it! Brittany Bailey and Stacy Woodard chose to have their wedding at
Hunter Valley Farms ... which is one the most photogenic locations in Knoxville.
Gorgeous flowers by
Lisa Foster of course! Lisa was actually Brittany's favorite vendor! It was Lisa's idea to wrap the bouquet with a piece from Brittany's mother's wedding dress. What a thoughtful detail that gave the bouquet the perfect touch of history.
Three words Brittany used to desribe the wedding day: HOT, magical, and exciting!
It was definitely hot ... but Brittany looked SO beauitful no one even noticed. That stunning lace, beaded, halter dress is from
White Lace and Promises.
I was so excited to photograph thier "first look" before the ceremony. It was the most emotional part of the day for sure!
Brittany's description of their proposal story:
Stacy and I had just gotten home from dinner at Connor’s and he wanted to go on a walk on the golf course. I thought it was weird, but it was a nice night out, so I agreed. We started walking and we sat down on a bench and he said, “I haven’t been honest with you.” I’m thinking, ‘what in the world? Are you kidding me?’ He said, “I wasn’t actually in Chattanooga today. I was at your parents house…..” He went on to describe how he had asked for my parents permission and he wanted to marry me…..etc. It was a very special night!
I love the color pairing of blue and yellow! So bright and summery and unexpected! Those cutie pie bridesmaid dresses are from
Alfred Angelo.
Just before walking his youngest daughter down the isle, Brittany's dad wrote "her mother and I do" just in case he forgot his only line. Good thinking!
Sealed with a kiss and a prayer ...
So remember earlier when I said this was a "spirited" wedding? Well ... it was mostly the reception that I was talking about. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
