Justin & Laura Singleton

Laura and Justin were married in LaFollette, TN on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Despite the power going out all over town and other various mishaps, Laura and Justin had one thing in mind ... and that was marrying each other. When you're in love ... what else matters?

Look at Laura how beautiful ...

This was also my new #1 second shooter, Lauren's first wedding with me. She has shot several other sessions and such as my assistant ... but this was the first wedding and I have to say she did amazing!!! Here is one of her shots:

Laura and Justin decided to see each other before the wedding ... THANK YOU! This decision makes the day so much smoother for everyone. And the "first look" moment is my favorite moment of the day. SO SPECIAL!

Another shot by Lauren ... can you believe four adorable flower girls?!!!

My favorite of the day:

Cliff and Hallie are married! (Mountain City, Knoxville, East Tennessee, Wedding Photography)

Cliff and Hallie got married in Mountain City, TN ... which is where they both grew up and fell in love with each other. Their wedding was set outdoors at the Red Tail Mountain Country Club and every single detail fell into place so perfectly. The day went off with zero snags thanks to an amazing team of vendors:

Cake: Dreamcakes Bakery; Bristol, VA
Flowers: Betty King, Food City
Venue: Red Tail Mountain
Caterer: Webb's Store

So this is Hallie ... she was an amazingly beautiful bride ...

You know I love photographing details ...

Cliff quite the handsome groom ... and his entourage of handsome groomsmen ...

I love this shot of Hallie and her dad walking down the isle. All eyes on the blushing bride ... so perfect:

Ah!!!! And the horse!!!! Seriously LOVE this one:

My assistant for the day was the talented Brittany Williams. She did a great job documenting so many candid moments all day. The next pair of images were a couple shots from the "father daughter" dance - which I happen to think can be one of the more emotional moments at any given wedding. The image on the left was Brittany's shot and the image on the right was mine. I think Brittany did such an awesome job "telling the story"on this one. Often what makes a moment so memorable is what's going on outside of the frame ...

Oh man and there were definitely some cute kiddos at this wedding. Be sure to watch the slide show for more of this cutie and some others as well ...

Guess who caught the bouquet?!! Rebekah! ... whose wedding I will be shooting in August!!

Be sure to watch this slide show and let me know what you think about it by clicking on "comments" below!

Elsa Marie - Baby and Family Portraits - Knoxville, Johnson City, East Tennessee

Elsa Marie is seven months old and growing! She is such a dream to photograph because she has such a sweet temperament. I love to listen to the way her mommy and daddy talk to her ... they do a wonderful job at making her smile.

I don't blame Elsa for smiling at them at all! Look at how in love they are ...

A perfectly sweet family ...

Carl & Ashley Brown are married!!!

Carl and Ashley got married in Bristol on a beautiful day in May.

Here are the specifics:
Cake: Blackbird Bakery
Venue & Caterer: The Centre
Tux: Moon Tuxedo

Lately I am liking the collage of photos ... let me know your thoughts about the grouped images by clicking on "comments" at the bottom of this post. This is what I mean ... check out all these gorgeous details:

One of Ashley's favorite things about her wedding was her bouquet. She wanted calla-lilies but decided not to spend the extra money on those. When Carl heard that she wasn't getting exactly what she wanted ... he called up the florist and said "add the callas!" What a guy!!!!

Ashley, the beautiful bride ... and her perfect bouquet ...

I love this relaxed shot of the bridal party.

Ashley and Carl ... thanks so much for letting me a part of your day. I love you guys!

Tommy and Lauren are Married!!!

Here are just the facts:

Florist: Lisa Foster Design
Ceremony: Central Baptist Church of Bearden
Reception: L & N Station
Caterer: The Foundry
Cake: Alicia Fugate, Cakes By Alicia
Videographer: Kay's Wedding Videography
Bridal Gown and dresses: David's Bridal

Here is a lovely little detail collage ... don't you just love all these colors!!!

Now, let me tell you ... Lauren was a flawlessly beautiful and completely relaxed bride. I could not narrow it down to only show you one photo of her. This girl was breath taking!

Special thanks to Lisa Foster Design ... my favorite florist in the whole wide world! She did a remarkable job on the flowers as per usual!

My assistant for the day was Rachel ... the master of keeping me collected and a very talented photographer as well. Rachel got this next shot of Lauren and her dad just before they walked down the aisle. I think it is such a perfect reflection of how contemplative and lovely the entire day was. There were also some really goofy and hilarious moments with these two but you have to watch the slide show at the bottom to see that!

What a gorgeous pair ... these were taken before they saw each other:

Oh man I had such a great time with this bridal party. Check them out ...

The reception was held at The L & N Train Station ... it made for the most beautiful background and atmosphere!

The light inside the L&N is so delicious!!!

A completely magical day! Congratulations to this perfectly sweet and happy couple!!!
