Hey friends! I am back from a wild weekend in Savannah celebrating St. Patrick's Day and taking so many pictures my wrist is sore! It was a great trip ... and I have so much to say and tons of photos to post ...
Check this out ... can you believe this amazing location ... or this amazingly beautiful lady ...

This is Melissa ... and she is getting married this weekend at this location - The Sheldon Church Ruins. Im kinda bummed that I won't be photographing the actual wedding ... but I have some other exciting plans this weekend that you'll hear about later. Man - it was so beautiful in Savannah!
Just a little background ... you know Izzy (the snow bridals) ... Okay, well Izzy and Melissa are best friends from college. They almost planned a double wedding - but since that didn't happen they wanted to do some bridal portraits together (you'll see those at the end of Melissa's slide show and I will do another post in a day or two with more bridals of Izzy).
Izzy is moving back to Savannah after her wedding in May. So I have been "interviewing" for a new main second photographer for my weddings this season. Right now I have three amazing people in mind who are all going to be working with me in rotation. I will be introducing them here on the blog ... first up is Brittany. Brittany is in the beginning stages of starting her own photography business. She is in the middle of doing a facelift on her website with a new business name and logo. But until then, you can see some of her work here
BGW Photography.
So I was thrilled when Brittany and her husband Jared were available to come with me to Savannah. It was an awesome opportunity for me to work with Brittany for the first time. Training someone to be my assistant is a bit of a process. But by looking at these photos, surely you can tell its a fun process! Izzy and Melissa both gussied up in their wedding dresses and modeled for us ... gorgeous girls, gorgeous location, perfect weather ...
Here we go ... these are two of my favorite shots by Brittany:

This one is my favorite of my shots ... even though it doesn't show the location ... there is just something about it that is so perfect to me.

If you watch the slideshow - you'll see a bunch more of Brittany's shots. Obviously you won't be able to tell which are hers and which are mine (which is a good thing) but you'll be able to see the different perspectives and feel the flavor of two creative minds at work.
